Off-Roading/4×4
The Virginia Off Road Club
Welcome to The Virginia Off Road Club! Our club is non-vehicle specific and we welcome anyone with the same interests both off road, and preserving our sport and trails for future use. We support the tenets of TreadLightly, the Blue Ribbon Coalition, the Virginia Four Wheel Drive Association, and the United Four Wheel Drive Association; and many of our members are supporters and donating members of all of the aforementioned organizations. We don’t care how much you do or don’t take your vehicle off road, as that’s not the sole purpose of our club. We also meet off the trails for dinners, barbecues, movie nights, and other get togethers. We also get together for mod (modification) days to help each other repair and/or improve our rigs. If you haven’t signed up, please do! Get to know the people of our club. If any of us can be of any assistance to you, don’t hesitate to let us know. Be sure to check our news articles below for any important information that may have been posted recently. We also feature our monthly winner of the VA4x4 Rig of the Month below.
Capital Land Cruiser Club
WELCOME!!! to the new and improved Capital Land Cruiser Club website. The Capital Land Cruiser Club has been around since 1992 and we are still going on strong. Though we are primarily a Land Cruiser club, we welcome all Toyota 4 wheel drive trucks. We have many great things planned for the CLCC. Tech days, happy hours, Wheeling & camping trips, swap meets, and much, much more… Please enjoy your visit and feel free to come to any of our events. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at Kilroy’s: 5250 Port Royal Road , in Springfield VA. You can also find us on ih8mud’s club forum area www.ih8mud.com or http://forum.ih8mud.com/forumdisplay.php?f=79 We have a many of goals this year. Increase membership: We would like to see the club grow. We are looking to double if not triple membership this year. The more members we have, the more events we can put together, and the greater the club will be. Better Tech days: We have created an official Tech day director position in order to organize better tech days for the club. The purpose of tech days is to learn about our trucks, various components, and maintenance issue. The director will ensure that all necessary tools and knowledge is assembled in order to produce the best possible learning experience. We also plan to video all events in order to make these available to members. Loaner tools: We have already begun assembling club owned tools that will be available to all CLCC members in good standing. Please let us know of any tools you would like to see added. More wheeling trips: We have two wheeling trips organized already this year, as well as other TLCA events. Mark your calendars so you won’t miss out. Contribute: This is YOUR club. Come, join, become a part. Though we all come from different backgrounds, we all come together to discuss our passion. If you havent been to a meeting, come out and meet us. We look forward to meeting you,
Maryland Rock Raiders
Maryland Rock Raiders. From bone stockers to RcRoc’s We are back to the basic’s offroaders! We surround ourselves with our friends and familes and take the sport to personal extremes of each member. Through the eyes of our cameras and our videos you will experience the passion for off road driving, you will share in our excitement, but most of all you will be entertained by our members unique sense of play. This is not a sport for everyone, but everyone should try it at least once. We are people not much different than you that have come together in a common interest to have an awesome family offroad experience. We will educate you on the sport, to be a conservationist for our environment and understand the Tread Lightly policies. Travel to National, State and paid parks as a group. We have a very active membership and we elected to spend a significant amount of time at a paid park known as Rausch Creek Off Road Park which is located in PA. But don’t be fooled, we are very much into preserving our public lands too. Our trail guides share both their knowledge and experience with the new members to ensure their safety on the trails, minimize any potential damages and that you can enjoy your experience with this club. Collectively we foster a unique offroad brotherhood and a strict code of conduct. We look forward to your joyful experience with our club and your newly found friends . Thanks for visiting us.
